Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Divine Astro collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

Account details — your name, email address and profile picture, as supplied by Google, Microsoft or Apple when you sign in. We never receive your password.
Birth details — the date, time and place of birth you enter, for yourself or anyone whose chart you save. This is the sensitive part, and we treat it as such.
Your questions and our answers, so you can revisit and download them.
Payment records — what you bought, when, and the gateway's transaction reference. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details; those go directly to the payment gateway.
Basic technical logs — IP address and browser, kept briefly for security and abuse prevention.

Why we collect it

To calculate your chart, answer your questions, deliver what you have paid for, keep an accurate record of credits, and meet our tax and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

The payment gateway, to take payment.
Pandit Shukla, who receives the birth details needed to write a hand-written kundali you have ordered — and nothing more.
Our hosting provider, which stores the data on our behalf.

If you enable AI-assisted narration, the text of your reading is sent to the selected provider to be rewritten. You choose whether to use it; local-only narration and plain rule-based wording are always available. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your birth details for advertising.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is open. Delete your account and we remove your birth profiles, questions and answers within 30 days, except records we are legally required to keep for tax purposes.

Your rights

You may ask us to show you your data, correct it, delete it, or export it. Write to support@divineastro.org and we will respond within 30 days. You can delete an individual saved birth profile yourself at any time.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you signed in and one short-lived cookie during sign-in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Children

Divine Astro is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
